Jarlath has 20 years’ experience of leading both commercial business units and non-commercial services with increasing range and leadership. This culminated in being Managing Director for Imperial College Union, a £10 million charity with over 100 FTE staff. Through this work he developed a focus on understanding and driving performance in environments where this is more complex than a simple bottom line. After completing an Executive MBA, Jarlath launched UK Performance Consulting which coaches leaders and supports organisations at various stages of their development to improve their performance. He was the subject matter expert for the development of LSE’s Entrepreneurial Finance Online Course and has been the Head Tutor on the course (now called “Venture Capital: The Essentials of Financing Your Startup”) for 3 years. Throughout this time, Jarlath has developed a passion for supporting start up and scale up enterprises to maximise their impact.
